Ft. Lauderdale, FL- At the 2007 George Snow Scholarship Fund Awards dinner, Frank D. Feiler was elected Chairman for the remainder of 2007 and 2008 of the organization. Feiler has served the group for the past 6 years including Vice Chairman and Cowboy Ball host.
Feiler is Vice President of Operations and Development for Transworld Business Brokers, headquartered in Fort Lauderdale with 9 offices throughout the state. He oversees the daily sales efforts of 75 business brokers. In addition to the George Snow Scholarship Fund, he also serves as a Board Member of the Boca Raton Airport Authority as appointed by the Boca Raton City Council and Mayor.
Tim Snow, President of the Fund, stated, "We are extremely pleased to have Frank on our team at such a high level to help us achieve our goals for the coming year. He has proven to be an effective leader, a highly organized individual and key fundraiser in our mission. Our student recipients will benefit greatly from his involvement as Chairman."
The George Snow Scholarship Fund was established in 1982 to help provide educational grants to deserving young scholars with a four year commitment to help bridge the gap between other financial aid and what the recipient and their family can afford. In addition, the Scholarship Fund provides programs and services designed to benefit the scholars. To date, since 1982, they have awarded over $3 million dollars to deserving students throughout Palm Beach County. This year's awards were given to 89 recipients.
