Sara Benzion, J.D., joined Transworld Business Advisors of Utah in 2019 with five years of experience in facilitating the sale of private and public businesses of all sizes and ten years of experience selling commercial real estate. Prior to joining Transworld Business Advisors, Sara worked as a corporate lawyer for five years at law firms including Stoel Rives LLP and Gibson Dunn & Crutcher LLP, with a specialty in mergers and acquisitions, real estate, equity and debt financing, securities and corporate governance. Sara assisted buyers and sellers of public and private companies to structure, negotiate and close merger and acquisition transactions. Sara has been involved in closing hundreds of corporate transactions as part of her legal practice, predominantly in the food and beverage, technology, healthcare and oil and gas industries.
Sara has assisted companies and individuals in financing, buying, leasing and selling commercial real estate for ten years. During this time, Sara managed a portfolio of commercial real estate for a family business.
Sara graduated summa cum laude and in the top 3% of her class from the J. Reuben Clark School of Law at Brigham Young University. During Sara’s time in law school she was the editor-and-chief of the International Law and Management Review, which published a semi-annual journal on finance and international laws impacting business and commerce.
Sara spends her free time skiing, hiking and running.
