As a small business, we have built our company on a number of core values that we believe represent how we want to serve our community, how we want to act as professionals, and help us guide our service offerings from a solid foundation. Transworld’s core values are Tenacity, Learn & Grow, Be a Professional, and Small Business Advocacy. Today we would like to take a closer look at our second core value of Learn & Grow and show how it fits into our business.
To Transworld Business Advisors, learning is synonymous with improvement. The business brokerage industry is always changing and evolving from new regulations that affect business ownership to how the economy is affecting the market landscape. So many factors can affect the business sale market that it is incredibly important to us that we keep on top of the newest information and identify how we can incorporate it into the practices of our office.
Another factor of our learn and grow value, is that as licensed business brokers we have to keep up with continuing education requirements to keep our real estate licensing up to date so we can actually serve our clients. We also fulfill franchise training requirements, which keep all of our brokerage team members on par with the practices of our best processes and top franchise brokers.
This week is a great week to address this core value, as many of our colleagues are attending and even presenting at United Franchise Group’s World Expo. This expo brings together UFG’s 9 brands, of which we are one, for a multi-day learning extravaganza centered around knowledge sharing, networking, and well fun!
At the end of the day, our goal is to be the best resource to our small business clients that we can be, and always learning and growing to align with the changing market is the best way we know how to accomplish this.
