As a small business, we have built our company on a number of core values that we believe represent how we want to serve our community, how we want to act as professionals, and help us guide our service offerings from a solid foundation. Transworld’s core values are Tenacity, Learn & Grow, Be a Professional, and Small Business Advocacy. Today we would like to take a closer look at our first core value of Tenacity and show how it fits into our business.
Being tenacious is not dissimilar to being persistent, determined, tireless, resolute, or having strength of purpose. We are fully aware of what it takes to build, and operate a small business, and we want to put that same effort towards helping our clients. Our clients entrust us with one of their most valued assets, their small business. And it is our job to do whatever it takes, and sometimes challenge the impossible, in order to sell their business and accomplish their business goals!
Because our business brokers are determined to help small business owners acquire or exit a business, we focus on our small business M&A wheelhouse and maintain the knowledge, tools and connections needed to make each of our deala as efficient and effective as possible. This focus takes us from working with local small business development organizations all the way to keeping our real estate licensing up to date through continuing education programming. We are always pushing to hone our talents around small business M&A, so we can best serve our clients.
Another way we embody our core value of tenacity is through our marketing strategy. When we represent a business, we don’t simply list it and wait for a buyer to knock on our door. We actively market our clients’ businesses, working hard to identify buyers whose vision and strategy aligns with the seller. This process is different for every business, but is always proactive - from keeping in touch with buyers looking for specific industry acquisitions, to advertising on regional and national platforms - we’re always identify new ways to match buyers and sellers.
At the end of the day we understand the lives and livelihoods that come with a business and respect the importance of what we’ve been entrusted.
