Denver Dames, a community of women business executives and entrepreneurs, honored Transworld Business Advisors of Denver's CEO, Jessica Fialkovich, with its inaugural Evolving Women in Business Award on Thursday, May 28, 2015.

The award recognizes female industry leaders dedicated to growing both their companies and communities and who own, operate or hold a high-level position in a small to medium-sized company in Colorado. Fialkovich founded the Denver branch of Transworld in 2013 and has since been heralded as an innovator in her field of small business mergers, acquisitions, and franchising. Described by her peers as a smart and inspiring leader with a robust and obvious passion for innovation and education, Fialkovich oversees strategic planning, marketing, and support services for Transworld.

After over a decade of buying, building and selling successful businesses in the wine & spirits and retail industries in both Colorado and Florida, she decided to employ her passion and experience in business by guiding others in their entrepreneurial quests. Outside of the office, Fialkovich heads BNI's Metro Referral Matrix chapter, where she focuses her efforts on business relationships and mentoring. The Denver Dames social, hosted by entrepreneur and marketing expert, Meghann Conter, was established as a fun and creative alternative to typical business networking events. Over 25 female executives gathered at Wine & Whey in Denver's RiNo District to shine the spotlight on successful businesses and organizations run by women.
