The involvement of our people is a key component of all our community programs. The time they give ranges from one-off team-building challenges to regular, consistent volunteering, usually on a monthly basis. The firm supports these activities by giving our staff time off to undertake these activities.
XCEL MENTORING - Xcel exists to provide mentoring and trades training for young men with absent fathers. Xcel mentoring network throughout Raleigh, NC, and Savannah, Ga has shaped the lives of hundreds of young men that just needed a helping hand, some encouragement, and life skills to reach their full potential.
A Perfect Injustice believes that abandoned, abused, suffering, and street children are a perfect example of injustice and that every child deserves to be loved and safe. There is a saying in Uganda that, “Prevention is Better Than Cure”, meaning that it is better to prevent a disease than to have to find a cure for it later. For traumatized children, we also believe that prevention is better than cure. We are passionate about equipping vulnerable families to care for themselves and their children.
There is no one who will love a child like their parents and no one else better placed to care for their unique needs. In Uganda, poverty, alcoholism, and violence are strong stresses within households. It is our goal to help families find the ultimate solution to their problems- Christ! As well as equipping them with skills that will allow them to thrive!
We also believe in resettling children with their biological families when separation has occurred and supporting such children so that they can continue to thrive at home. A Perfect Injustice provides long-term care for many children resettled from the streets with their biological families.
