Transworld Business Advisors of Houston celebrates our most successful year ever with an outstanding 2022 year. Our Houston office broke significant team and individual performance records across the board. Transworld Houston sold 34% more businesses in 2022 as compared to 2021 with an increased dollar value of 33%. We listed more businesses and sold more businesses than any year in our history.
Additionally, we continued to grow our network of Houston buyers. Houston attracted over 4,000 new buyers in 2022 and now has an active buyer database of over 30,000 buyers. Transworld Houston reached new highs for online traffic. Our website saw an increase in visitors to over 52,000 in 2022, with 80% of our audience being new visitors. Further evidence that Transworld business listings are an even stronger attraction for potential business buyers.
In 2022 alone, we grew the Transworld Houston team to include additional brokers, support members, and a real estate branch. With the addition of three new brokers to our team, each adds new industry expertise to our diverse portfolio. We strengthened our marketing support team with the addition of a Mergers and Acquisitions Director focused on supporting our M&A clients. We added a Digital Marketing Specialist focused on the marketing of our industry-leading 220+ Houston business listings. Plus, we added two top-tier and highly experienced commercial real estate brokers to our team.
