As we bid farewell to 2023, it's time to reflect on the remarkable achievements that have made this year, yet another resounding success. Our team across South and West Texas, New Mexico, and Wyoming sold 72 businesses in 2023, with a total enterprise value of $76,098,231, an increase of 132% over 2022! This outstanding financial achievement underscores our commitment to excellence.
We attracted over 9,000 new buyers, a 78% increase from last year, growing our active buyer database to over 40,000! Notably, 200 of these buyers came from our business growth in the New Mexico area. We increased our buyer-to-listing ratio by 65% in 2023, thanks to 275 new listings. Our website also saw an increase in new and repeat visitors and web page visits, going from 120,000 to 175,000 views in 2023. With our online presence increasing and a growing community of buyers, we sent 3,504,336 email communications in 2023, an impressive 623,017 more than in 2022. Our emails saw a 22% increase in click-through rates, and fewer emails were unopened compared to 2022.
The team nearly doubled from 17 brokers in 2022 to 30 in 2023, adding agents in San Antonio, El Paso, Lubbock, Corpus Christi, Houston, Albuquerque, Laramie, and Jackson. With this expansion, our headquarters in Houston relocated to a larger state-of-the-art office space. We also welcomed a Business Development Director, a Digital Marketing Manager, an Internal Resource Manager, and a Social Media Specialist to support our growing team.
