HOUSTON. TX – On Thursday, December 1, 2022, the Texas Association of Business Brokers (TABB) Houston Chapter held a charity event at The General Public sponsored by Transworld Business Advisors. This event assisted to fund and provide Christmas gifts for children served by the CASA Program who have been placed in protective custody. This fundraiser gives the children a brighter holiday season for those who might otherwise be without gifts this Christmas.
There were over 50 guests in attendance who brought a gift or monetary donation valued at $25 or more. The event was a huge success, and approximately $12,000 was raised in a combination of monetary donations and dozens of toys donated. Transworld’s contribution towards the event alone accounted for over $5,000 in total donation amount.
Ashley Brockette Zustovich, CASA’s Marketing and Communications Director was in attendance to recruit for advocates and speak to our guests. All the amazing toy donations were accepted by Ashley and taken back to their headquarters.
